What do Support Coordinators (SCEs) do?
A Support Coordinator is an advocate for his or her clients. SCEs assist their clients in creating experience and connections in the community. They ensure that their client is aware of all available and reasonable options for their supports (housing, day supports, employment opportunities, behavior supports, budgeting and medication management, etc.) They also provide recommendations to assist their clients and ensure their clients are safe, healthy, and free from exploitation and abuse. Support Coordinators often become lifelong friends to their clients.
